You can put as many pads and plates as you want together, but if the only slipping is happening between 1 pad and the plate, you aren't doing anything other than adding more weight....

The plates between each pad are keyed to the slipper shaft. Have you seen the MTK clutch basket as a reference?

100% true. In all the pictures I have seen of the clutch basket, I could not see/did not notice that the plate that goes between is keyed. now that I see that, I also realize that the clutch basket is actually tripling the surface area. That makes a lot more sense now.
Thank you.

I would be willing to bet that the inside washer gets like that due to the play in between the diff cup and the outdrives. Mine got real bad. I noticed that the brass insert had worn so badly that when you would bobble the outdrive, it would place alot of pressure the sungear pin, which would press into the washer you are talking about.
I would sure love to have steal instead of brass in a high wear area like that. wink wink someone

Does anyone know how to get a hold of Trakstar. I have called and emailed and get no replies back. It's been 2 days short of a month since my order. This is starting to get ridiculous now. Anyone?
