You are correct sir
you will need the outdrives unless you plan to use your existing. If the plan is to have a spare, get the outdrives.

The light part is the pad - there's three in that picture. The dark part is the other part of the friction surface (like the slipper back plate).
Three pads plus the one on the rear makes four. I win!
(In fairness I counted four without the zoom, thank you for the pic - if you can zoom it while using Chrome I don't know how to).

I'm waiting for AE to come out with a spur gear that has taller pad walls so we end up running up to 2 pads per side without an extra basket/accessory and just have to add the in-between plates on a new shaft that is keyed its full length.

LOL its a shame we have to modify our trucks to keep from getting Losi hammered!!
im headed back out to the track in a bit to test out 10k front dif fluid and some other minor stuff, hopefully i get my exit steering. will chime in tonight.
