From what I was reading, the newer cab-forward designs leave the wing way up high when the back half off the body is substantially lower. So aerodynamically, you are geting the full effect of the wing even though it is sitting a tad lower. With a standard body, you would loose downforce from the wing.
In theory, you will not notice a change in driving behaviors. So is it needed? Nope. I think it looks better though.

Yeah I don't think you will really notice a difference in the bodies or the wing, but I noticed in 2wd that I lost a lot of rear traction when I dfropped the wing.
I think in mod you would probably notice it more at higher speeds.
With that being said I'm consider getting rid of my 44 or 44.1. Both are in prestine condition and only run on carpet. Let me know if anyone is interested. Also will come with either two clear bodies or two custom bodies, your choice.

Got in my order from tbone racing today, front and rear bumpers.. i must say im pretty impressed. Im only worried that there isnt much flex in the bumpers but they fit quite nicely and hopefully they protect the front shocks better

Thanks guys, a buddy of mine here in chicago does them for me. Its got a matching under tray pretty sick ill take a better shot of it when im at the track. That black is all carbon fibre, u cant tell with that pic.
So is everyone pretty much running the ballast weight? im going to just try it with out it at first. I built it according to the Lipo Setup.

I used them and every time the buggy went over a jump, the front would dig into the ground and flip it. IMO, the bumpers are not bent up enough closer to the shocks, but rather sit down to low. I tried both front and rear and just had the problem with the front one.

build is going well . straight forward . not sure what I want to do with my electronics . I have a MMP and a Novak Havoc and a 1410 Castle Motor and a8.5 Novak Ballistic Motor . I am open to buying something new . Probably end up with a 6.5 Novak ?? I really like my LRP speedo in my B4.1 . I might pick up another one of those .
What LRP speedo would be good for this buggy ?

Thanks for the input . I will try the 8.5 since I have one . But most of the top guys at my local track are using a 6.5 so I will eventually end up there I think . Nice to know that a 8.5 will get the job done . Really do not want to buy another motor right now . I still need to buy the servo and and a couple saddle packs for it .
What Saddle Packs will fit in this buggy ? Will the Pro Match 5200 mAh 50 c fit ? I want to get a LiPo with a c rating of 40 or higher . DO not want to break the bank , but do not want to buy from HobbyKing either .

I run thunder power or smc. The smc has less power, but still does just fine. Also I know we all say see what the guys are running at the track to get a baseline, but you have to know what you can handle as well. A lot of Guys at my track can run a 17.5 within a second of some of the mod guys, but when they run mod they run slower times because they are not used to the speed and cant handle the power.
