Same for me on some stuff. Example, the Orion R10 is a Hobby Wing so I could have saved some cash however none of the Hobby Wing ESCs have the machined top case. Batteries to me are more of a disposable so name brand isn't as important (as long as they're decent performers).

Rear diff nut is on the left side if you are looking at the car from the rear and the front is on the right.

Not trying to be an ass, I'm curious what you don't like about them. This is my first experience with AE shocks (coming from years of Losi).

the kyosho stuff is suppose to fit pretty easily from what i have been told. im currently trying to get some regular bore velvets from kyosho. the ae are nice but the kyosho shocks big bore and reg are MONEY! lol not trying to bash anyone or any brand butt the kyosho shocks in MY opinion are much smoother, easier to bleed than the v1 ae's and to me seem all around better.

Default Asc9802 b44 motor mount clamp

Does this clamp really make things easier to change pinions? I'm thinking of purchasing one, if any of these LHS have any. Thanks

it does and doesnt at times. It is nice to change them, but sometimes becomes difficult to twist the motor depending on how you have it set in it. also sometimes you have to take the little mount off anyways depending on how the pinion fits on the shaft. I like it but my friends have trouble and dont like that they have to do more than the old one.
