I'm running the brushlesshobbies.com 120 amp escs in all of my 1/10th vehicles. They fit great in the b44.1 as that's all I've used in my car since I bought it. They truly are great escs and for only $58 shipped you can't beat them. Stan that owns brushlesshobbies.com is a great guy and he is there to answer any and all questions about his products.....

If your plugs aren't making good contact with the battery, it would cause the same thing.

I don't think these nano-tech saddles like high discharge. Me and a mate are both running nano tech saddles in durango 4x4 short course trucks with tekin RX8 esc and tekin pro4 4000kv motors and the same gearing. He has the current limiter set really high (around 95% or so) and he also has a very heavy trigger finger. His batteries used to be unbalanced a fair bit (about 0.2V - 0.3V difference between cells) after doing a 7 minute race. He had 3 saddle packs, and it happened on all of them.

I, on the other hand, run a current limit of 60% and I'm reasonably smooth on the throttle. My packs never differ by more than 0.03V after a race.

He's now gone to Orion packs, and hasn't had the problem again.

ya so thats what im saying. if u cant go balls to the wall with them whats the point. connectors are plenty good thats not the problem. also a pro4 motor cant hold a candle to a tenshock 550 4 pole.

I just got my first B44.1 together and have a few questions.

1.) For my front tires (jconecpts double dees), they gave me full rear foam. Do I need to cut them down or use the full foam as is?

2.) What is the proper settings for the front diff, back diff and clutch?

3.) My hobby shop doesn't carry parts so what parts should I expect keeping a stock of? Any must have hop ups for the b44.1?

Thanks!

#1 Don't cut the foam jc makes it like that for a reason.

#2 I run my front at a quarter of an inch and the rear and eight of and inch and for the clutch fully tightened this is what i run it all depends on the tracks you run.

#3 You need to stock front arms and front shock shafts and the eyelets because when the shaft breaks the bottom gets stuck in the eyelet

Enjoy your 44.1 im sure you will love it.

Not sure if this has been discussed before.
Just finished building my kit but when I put the slipper assy into the centre mounts it feels too tight. It feels like there is not enough spacefor it to fit. It even tightens the slipper adjustment. I have taken it apart several times and rechecked it but still the same. Any clues.

Yes, make sure the spacers are all pointing the right direction. It is supposed to fit snug. I just had an issue on my new kit where I put the bearing insert in backwards and it caused the spur gear to rub.

My thought differs slightly from the one above, Depends on the situation, but I do cut foams most times. They are full rear foams, look at a lot of the set up sheets will say 3/4 foam or cut to width. The way I usually do this is set the foam and tire on their side on a flat bench, hold a sharpie on top of the tire without pushing tire down at all, have foam rotate around sharpie point and that draws a cut line for your front tires.

I just got some new saddle packs for my new B44.1, but the bullet connectors are too long in the back to make it under the top deck. Does anyone make low profile bullet connectors? Any ideas on a solution? My batteries are from promatch.

Instead of the bullets going straight up you can cut the bullet off and make the wire straight and have the bullet connector facing down this will make it fit

go on ebay and do it right.... duratrax makes the correct connectors. search duratrax gold 4mm bullet. those are what your looking for. there like $1.99 a pair. they are soldered at 90 degrees .
