I really like the way the clutch basket works, its very predictable and allows for tuning front rear bias w/pad size. I run a Novak 4.5 14mm rotor, boosted 60 on a RX8, geared 14/58. It, with other tweeks and weight balance took almost 2 seconds of my lap times , just by being able to jump farther and get on the power earlier.

This track we run at is huge. my only problem now is i have to be carefull braking, it will flip me truck at the end of the 200 ft straight! Looks retarded watching your truck flip off the track

With the old style slipper ?

It sometimes demanded a very tight setting to keep the rear plate from slipping.
Canceling out any benefit the slipper could bring to the car as the slipper was about locked up to get proper acceleration ...

Seems you can't , so Ill spare everyone , K ?

Just wait for the parts to be released & you tell everyone how the fix works...

Don't know when they will be available ....

So Jorge isn't wrong and I'm pretty sure I comprehended from the start.....

Cherry has recently told me to get a real motor. I took his advise and designed a new line of motors for Viper. Thanks for the advice Geo!

Four different KV's (3900-5200kv), two shaft size options (3-5mm) Sensored and Sensorless options.

I'm only trying to share info about parts you and most won't get to see for months from now ...

The performance between the old & new slipper that is being tested is
about the same, hardly can tell the difference .....

Note:
Not me that that told you K ?

hum.... Now I just ordered my sc10 and the local dist told me there are some delay so it will not be included with the 'normal' shipment from AE which arrive this week, and should arrive seperately next week. Will it be the new slipper? Man I can't wait to see it......

Already ordered a tekin 4 pole but I might have to check that Viper out. 550 4 pole sensored should be more then enough.

I couldn't agree more. I found the smoother you drive the truck the faster you are. Keeps the rubber on the dirt, and often on the podium

I believe you, but I bet the pinned front is more consistent and predictable overall. No more rear slip/front pull- rear grab/ spinout under power coming out of a turn.
Clutch basket cured this for me.

I'll probably stick to the decoupled setup for the sole purpose of saving the belt under hard braking. The clutch basket helped shore up forward acceleration so I'm golden atm.

So it sounds like the FT version will have a new slipper & will be made for saddle packs & possibly will have stiffer material in the a-arms.
