Default B4.1 with no steering

IDK if anybody can help me out. I was running the FTB4 and loved it so i decided to upgrade to the B4.1. I put the Maifield setup on it and it pushes out the door. The B4 has way more steering. any help would be great.

Two things I'd try. First, switch to a 2.5 toe block with your .5 hubs. When I ran indoor last year for the first time my B4 plowed through the turns. I was running 3.5 toe. Switched to the 2.5 and was a differ car. If you still need more steering go to the inside bottom hole on the front shocks.

Lengthen the front camber link. add a washer or two under the ballstud.

Reduce the limiting on the front. 3 limiters on the outside holes of the arm probably leave you little to no droop. (you can just unscrew your shock ends to play with that before taking the shock apart to change the limiting).

And change the front oil to match the rear at 30wt.

does that mean same EVERYTHING? I mean esc, radio settings, motor brand, ect. ect.

My current set-up, RH 24mm F/R, front~inside top outside arm shock position, brown spring with 27.5 oil, rear is inside top inside bottom, silver springs,25w oil, zero deg. FT hubs. everything else is out of the box FT .1 manual. Mine turns like an animal, with the right driving style.

Long story short I can see it happening, to not take away steering on the tight stuff I would adjust driving style and not the car if you find it to be the case. Simply try turn the wheel less with the same speed to see if it's an issue....imo

What about your dif? If you have your dif too tight it will plow under power.

Your posts have been perfectly punctuated. And your avatars are almost as cool as jmuck's. By the way, you spelled "Angelos" incorrectly.

Diff is fine that's the first thing I checked. Instructions tighten then back off 1/8 turn. I always back off 1/6 turn.

What are you guys using to clean up the plastic between rounds and to give it the deep black look. Kalgard Prep & Shine, silicone spray or other?
