i can see how it will get long run times as you only need to feather the throttle & your at the next corner over-shooting the apex

Default G Clip

Hey are G Clips standard? I can't seem to find any for my GX5R. After the first couple gallons, when changing the connecting rod, I have always replaced the G Clip as well. Should I just re-use it?
It's a stupid fast motor, thanks guys.

yes you can reuse it, just re stretch it outwards a little before you reinstall it, also all GO G clips are universal if you prefere to use new ones.

I think the majority of the Go's you start with both needles flush. With it being used maybe start with each needle in an hour and see how it runs? This is a big stab in the dark, does it run at all where the needles are at now?

Default plugs and pipes

I recently purchased a losi eight 2.0 buggy and put in a .21 GX-5R turbo engine. I love the engine and car but have a few questions.

1. I left the stock losi pipe on, anyone tried, recommend, or not recommend this pipe for this engine?

2. What's the best turbo plug for this 5 port turbo Go engine in high heat and relatively high humidity? "South Texas"

3. Any idea what could cause this engine to not idle by itself? If I don't gas it every second or 2 it dies. I have tried increasing idle, and leaning both high and low end needles as it also dies when gassed hard from idle. I'm pretty sure the needles are where they need to be because when it's running it's great as long as I don't stop.

thanks in advance

Hey Flanno, it was good to get over to OZ and meet you at the femca race,I think we all felt like we could have done better but thats racing, i was happy with how the GXII performed, just so unlucky to have a plug loosen off in the semi final, 1 place off getting through we think it was the twist and lock glowy we we're using..it would get stuck on and we had to twist it off so it must have loosened the plug.

shame we didn't get to run the over 40 race and we had to go off the qualifying results, still very happy with a 2nd in the old timers class

the kiwi boys are keen to come over again some time, hope to see you again then.

Did you see Shane drive in the machanics race? not a bad job for first time on the track Cheers for all your help and support Shane...GO NZ has now got some international racing under its belt

Didn't get much feedback in the other Go thread, so I'll try again here: how are the Go T3 and T4 plugs? Need some turbo plugs (Go 3-port R, Argus A52, Go GX-5R, Picco P7R, etc..) and the Go's are priced right..
