The only reason people struggled with the earlier GO motors, was because they came out with a long tapered LSN style carb, and people simply couldn't get their heads around the tuning differences between this and a normal short needle LSN, so thay blamed the motors for their own tuning inadaquacies (I hope that doesn't come across the wrong way)

Times have changed, and people seem more up with the play now regarding the different needle options found on motors these days.

Pipe - the GO EFRA 2072 is the preferred pipe, but the GXII also likes the 053 pipe and the Sirio or Werks 2013.
Good run times. 10 min in buggy once fully run in is quite achievable.
No issues thus far since their release. The motors run strong and hold a tune all day.

If you don't want it, I am sure inferno or another happy GXII-5RHO user will snap it up in no time
Thanks. Is the GS II a long needle. If so, what are the tuning differences. I've tried to search it, but hanent had any luck. Thanks again.

Yes, I talked to Simon about this last night... after I saw them on the web site (nice, huh?). I'm going to order some samples first, since the asian sizes are well... smaller. I dont want to order a "2L" and it only be able to fit my girlfriend (5'0", 100lbs). The older shirts' had a "4L" which was like a long XXL. That's why I went stateside for the last batch of US shirts. Hoping we can work something out with the sizing, so I can get this stuff in quantity.

Moto... left you a VM. Your special order is in, and will be shipping out tomorrow.

Go to our website here http://go-racing.vpweb.co.nz/Tech-Tips.html

Scroll down past the run-in info to the tuning section.
Basically with the longer tapered LSN you just need to make sure the top end is rich enough to allow enough fuel past the LSN at WOT, as with the GX Series the fine tapered end of the LSN remains in the receiver jet even at WOT.
The GXII-5RHO LSN has a modified taper, that allows it to just clear the receiver jet at WOT, so this tuning issue is not quite as sensitive on the new GXII.
The longer LSN gives a smoother power band, as the LSN controls fuel delivery from idle right up to 95% WOT - you have no major transition from the LSN to the HSN to tune around like a normal short needle carb.

Default Clutch setup/end play

Hi guys,

Just trying to setup my new Answer RC clutch and wanted some help, what is the first thing you need to setup, the end play or making sure the bell spins freely?

First I shimmed the inner bearing (between the clutch nut and bearing) so the bell spins freely,

But when I use either the screw that came with the GXII or use the one off my existing losi engine (using a collet and screw), when I tighten the screw the bell doesnt move.

Where do I put the shims for the end play? Also is it OK for the bearing to be exposed if I use only the screw, as the the way my losi motor was setup the collet covered the bearing.

Thanks.

I only use 77T for run in only, then run 97T, I even use 99T's if the situation arises but you need to be able to get the tune rite on, the 97T is a medium heat plug so is a bit more forgiving with a wider tuning window.

The 97Tīs are all I sell here for the GO motors. They are an excellent long lasting plug, and the GO motors just love them on 25 or 30% fuel.

Hey guys, how is the old Go 3-port R Spec with the silver case? Just picked up a buggy roller with one that is supposedly just freshly broken in... A quick search turned up some pretty positive sounding feedback.. But yeah, it was all like three years old I think...

I have one of those..with the red cooling head right? Great little club day motor..maybe lacks a little flat out grunt for really big tracks but nice linear power band..really easy to drive.
Fab motor with a little modding done to increase bottom end grunt and overall power a touch.
