RC10B4.1 FT/WC

To my knowledge it is the same, it does look like the newer plastic in t4.1 pictures though. All the team chassis look like the older stuff though. Part number is asc7440. All of the ones I have seen look like the old plastic and have the mold plug in the bottom.

That's the answer I was looking for, thanks. Think I'm going to order up a chassis and do something similar to lowes car that was shown over on oople with little aluminum brackets instead of carbon fiber. Hopefully JConcepts releases their new body sooner than later..

Do you have a link to that pic?

Maybe someone that has had a t4 and a t4.1 can verify the chassis. I know that the buggy plastic was a running change but I think enough time would have elapsed to get the older chassis out of stock and the newer ones to replace them.

Its the Paul Worsley converted car, near middle of the page.
And Matt:
That's why I was asking in the first place, because of the b4 being changed, so maybe someone could chime in and verify. Ill probably order a chassis either way this evening.

That's basically how I did mine. The only difference is that I used 3mm carbon fiber instead of aluminum. I sandwiched double sided tape between the chassis and the CF. Then I screwed them together as shown with 3mm button head screws. I cut the CF with a dremel so it's not as pretty as the aluminum but it's super strong.

I have both chassis. t4 has Molding hole t4.1 does not and the chassis has a different sheen to it. I did the chassis extension with the t4.1 chassis and used the t4 chassis for the reinforcement gussets, both chassis well used, not new by any means. I have raced my b4 now at 2 events and getting my setup closer. I like it alot and its more stable on large outdoor tracks here in Michigan.

The T4 chassis is definitely more rigid than the t4.1 There were a couple of big air jumps at the worlds. Perhaps the 4.1 had too much flex.

They also make graphite versions for both ...
