Is there something minor that can get changed based on the track conditions that can quickly go back and forth between?

Hopefully this makes sense.
Tires seem to be the easiest answer. Not saying it's the right or only answer though. How many different tires have you tried when the rear is loose like that?

What gearing are some of you guys running with a 7.5? I have the stock spur and a 21 pinion, I started with a 22 but temps soared quickly. Outdoor track and temps are 90+ even in the evenings. I added a fan to the motor to try to help but if I run it hard for 5 minutes or more temps get really high.

I have not tried any other tire as everyone runs the barcodes and I didn't figure that was the issue. I could do that as that would be easy.

Any thoughts on the tire to try?

if it is loose on entry as the grip comes up, try tightening up the front diff. i find that this makes a huge difference to the car. Also try 5wt higher front oil. The B44 is very sensitive to front end changes.

Less drop in the rear could be something for more rear entry stability, and of course the other things like heavier shockoil and spring in front.

Unless today's fronts were stripped blues 4.20/#6497, they don't appear to be cut truck fronts or rears, this would mean there is a new spring in existence.

Anyone have knowledge about a new spring and/or was this a custom part? Thanks in advance.
in 2wd he was running some kyosho's... maybe same in 4wd?

I know most of the factOry guys have all silver springs. While they are different they only run silver so no one knows their set up.

I looked into this, and Kyosho doesn't even make a spring that is the same rate as the AE silver or anything really close, so not sure what he used.

You mis-understood what I said or meant.

ALL their springs are silver. They are all different but they are all silver. Unlike the ones we use that are different colors to tell them apart.

I have no idea what he was using, I am just saying they do not use colored springs. All their different spring rates are all silver.
