Speed Tip :

Have learned at the Cactus team drivers were using Kyosho springs on their B-4 shocks..

Orange for the Ft spring

Blue for the rear spring

personally using dark yellow K spring up ft

Silver on the back ..

Went 10sec faster than my personal best with after switching ..

Performance benefits

*No more spring rubbing the shock body making for smoother shock action....

*Landings are way softer with way less chassis slap....

Not sure bout this part , but been told the K spring starts softer but is more progressive as the shock is compressed....

Highly recommend trying as this tip really works great ....
Do you know what the part numbers are for the kyosho springs? Is there kyosho spring sets and do I need kyosho spring cups to use on my V2 shocks?

going through some info, thinking about the kyosho spring mod on my 2wd buggy and truck...

what are the factory guys running on the t4?

i see cherry saying orange on the front of the buggy and blue on the back of the buggy

is it the dark blue on the rear or the cobalt (lighter blue) ?

Take and save this spring chart on your Pc, laptop etc. You can compare and cross reference the springs to the ones you are currently using.

Default Another gearing question

Hey fellas....finished building a new B4.1 this weekend. Took it out to the track for the first time this afternoon. I'm using a Hobbywing setup, 60A esc and 17.5t motor. FDR is 6.5. Spur 75, pinion 30. This motor is just not being pushed! And its slow Temps were only at 35 degrees after 15-20 minutes, even with the timming fully advanced! Starting to think I should gear it to the moon so I can see some speed. Is anyone else on here using this hobbywing gear? If so whats your gearing?

Green Ae rear spring for the T-4 is my best suggestion

#2 piston & 30W

K spring suggestion for rear B4

Blue or Cobalt on med high traction
yellow on med traction

our local team drivers are using the blue , I use the yellow for a little extra grip..

Tip

Rear shock
#3 piston, 22w oil & .060 internal limiter

Pretty sure you have to buy them individually, and they aren't cheap.

Yeah, no spring sets. Just be glad they aren't the price of the big bore springs..they are extremely proud of those.
