Ran the truck again, the 30k wt in the front made a real nice difference. 
Added another 1/4 oz to front to help level it off.
Having big time belt slip issues. Belt slid off the front pulley and bent up the side of the pulley that keeps it on. I'll have to replace that and the belt.
Went against an Ofna today with an experienced driver, fun times. When I made a mistake and had to catch up my truck reeled him in FAST. The acceleration on this truck is amazing. I love the way it can get over bumps so fast and easy too.
I think I'm going to drop the rear end 2-3 mm to help get rear traction when I blast down the straights, it gets a little squirrely.
It could be because I'm only running 3k back there. Anybody running thicker weight oil in the back?

Agree about the rapid acceleration of these things, I think the belt drive setup can take some credit for this.



I'm running 5k in the rear, 30k up front, its near on perfect for our track which is decent sized outdoor, med grip clay, bit choppy in parts...

I'm gonna try 5k in the rear to calm it down a little.
For 1410 motor I ran 16/62 and temped 160. I have to turn the power down on the low end. A 15 will get it done just fine. I run on a loamy clay track.

i know this car is a pain in the @$$ to work on but that doesnt matter to me im just having problems with my losi in durability lol

SO... how durable is this car i saw salad forks video and DANG it looks durable.. but how is it overtime... is it smoother than the losi? i mainly race at OCRC and WCRC i race on fridays at pegasus hobbies in montclair cali. and i go to LRH every time to time.

I have four good hard race days on mine as well as two long practice sessions on it. Zero issues and no broken parts at all. I'm beginning to wonder why I bought all these extra arms, rod ends, hub carriers, knuckles, and CVA rebuild kits. This truck is damn near bulletproof, IMO.

I am running the 93T 48P gear with a 20T pinion. After a complete battery(15 mins) motor comes off around 160, ESC 125... In the 5 min heats/main the motor was 129/ESC 120. The temps here are high 90s. Running 2s 35c 5800 batteries.

It's a plastic truck. It's going to break..
I broke some stuff this weekend, racing not bashing.
1. Bent a rear hinge pin and broke the rear hinge pin holder in half after I was bumped into a broken section of the pipe on the 140' straightaway....Hauling booty!! Oops.
2. Bent a dogbone and BENT the front arm (not broke) when I was T-boned after I landed the triple sideways.... I still ran the truck in the other heats and main with the damage. I will get some pics of it off compared to the new one.
Our track is rough and rugged and with 7 4x4s in the heats some bumping is going to happen, still a tough truck.

I'm about 20 packs in on mine...makeshift courses on a playground for the first bit, now 6 heats, 2 mains, 90 full throttle minute during 2 seperate practice days (15 minutes on a 5500mah battery times 6 charges)
I have pulled a shock shaft out of one shock because I didn't rebuild the factory pre-built shocks (loctited the screws and set to cure overnight...no issues since) and I pulled a front camber ballstud out...again, forgot to locktite...
both issues were fixed without any $$ (besides the loctite!
)
I am noticing that the holes where the sway bars are supposed to go are starting to compress and the front arms are slightly deformed.... My suggestion for anyone building a kit without the sway bars: put a screw in there to give it some extra rigidity.... or when you replace your front arms because they have deformed like mine....put a screw in there!
Aside from that, my truck has taken more abuse than the 8th scale truggies at our main track and it just keeps coming back for more (Can't say the same for the poor trugger bugger that was showboating over the triple after his heat was done.... lost a wheel, and not just from a wheel nut letting go...)

I've lawn darted mine A LOT and it has taken it. I think the bodies have suffered the brunt of my damage.
My servo came loose but that was an easy fix.
My belt was slipping and it messed up the front pulley but I think that was because I didn't have the tension set up right. I will go on the tight side next time.
Other than that, this thing is great. Just a pain to do fast fixes on .
