He's a vid of my buddies xt2e with mamba monster 2200. First day on the buggy and mamba set p stock servo sucked and wasnt returning straight. But you can see the torque it has most were half throttle burst way overshooting the jumps. Fucker is a lot better now. He forced me to get rid of my jammin cause I got tired of being lapped....lol now I have an rc8be with tekno v3 kit

Does anyone know of substitute parts for the caster blocks #89030 and the steering pivot hardware#89309. Called associated and they said both parts had a long wanting list. The caster blocks had 1500 orders waiting and the steering pivot hardware was 300 orders. The rep said they aren't even scheduled for productions.
Everyone i checked was out also, even eBay. Does anyone know of any other places to get these parts or replacements. This is disappointing. My car has been seating on the shelf for weeks. I need some track time.

I'd think that using 2 AE diff gaskets would create the same problem as using the Mugens...
I found out the hard way these last 2 weekends racing that the Mugen diff gaskets are not the answer... I've had to replace about 4 sets of spider gears because of them.
Like has been stated.. Just sand the diff cups till all the shiny spots are gone on the face of the cup, and use a stock AE gasket.

That is a misunderstanding or mistaken use of phrase. AE gets parts in on a regular basis all the time, the parts are scheduled for production. Who ever you talked to doesn't have any info about production or delivery of parts from our vendors. They only know when parts arrive in the inventory.

Just got my Grid Mount and WOW. it is amazing. i noticed that with the Grid mount the motor sits wayyyy higher in the car, but what it gains in height it also gains pulling in towards the center of the car, anyone running grid mounts noticing a difference in handling due to the motor position?
also, I'm about to solder everything up, but now that this motor comes out so easily I feel like I need a spare 2650 T8 pre-set on another Grid motor plateto swap with my 1900 when I'm not on the track... I'm wonderring if you guys have any tips on making the A - B - C motor to esc wires quickly detachable? I think I've seen someone in the pits doing something like that... Anyone suggest against it for performance reasons?
also, recommendations on pinion size for 2650 on stock 46t spur? I know 2650 is WAYYY too much, but I plan on hotwire'n down a bit hahaha

I take it you will be running the 2650 on 3S? try 17-20

So I finished putting my kit together today, wired up the speedo and the motor... noticed the center diff was leaking.
So when you guys sand the diff sealing surface do you just sand on say, emery cloth on a flat surface? Or a bigger piece of fine sandpaper? Guess I'm going to order a few more gaskets as well. Think I will sand and try AE gaskets before doing the mugen trick...
Is there really any type of torque spec for the diff itself?

You can solder castles bullet plugs for convenience of quick connections but not recommended as they say its another thing to fail since it will add another weak point, ive seen this done w/o any issues but for me i would rather do a straight connect since access is easy enough to unsolder motor.
