I just bent some music wire (1.5 / 2.0)... I used the TC5 swaybar mounts and some Hotbodies swaybar holders for the a-arm.

tech5 - I see you are associated with the same website. So I understand where your bias comes from.

These above are just from the last couple pages. Its helpful tech when a person supplies information in a tech thread. Its advertising when a person provides nothing but a link to a website they are affiliated with. It is nothing more than an attempt to get traffic to there website to make money. This is a tech thread. Not a for sale thread.

T-BirdJunkie - Tech I appreciate, regardless of who it comes from. That's why I read this thread. To learn from others. Just irritating when people try to direct people to a website for the intention of making sales in a tech thread.

Odin,
For Sale items were not posted in this thread. Mearly a link to where they can be found. You have the option to click the link or not. We obtained permission to do this nearly two years ago.

One of the posts someone asked how we can be contacted. Again a link to our contact and not a direct advertisement of our info.

The other is a link to my set up for the very truck this thread is about. The attachment is too big to post here and I do not have Acrobat to resize it.

I hope this clears up your concerns and I invite you to check us out here as I have updated our race results from this past weekend.

Thanks Jimmy, the truck has crazy steering and it's super quiet. I'm coming from a Jammin, that I won many races with, but the AE 4x4 is on another level. Plus it's durable out the box without any need for hop-ups, the sway bar kits are the only thing ya really need.

Chances are pretty good that your e-mail was chewed up and spit out by the spam detection in their e-mail, doubly so if you're using a Gmail account.

You have to be careful with wording and misspellings and such when emailing somebody through a corporate server. Spam filters catch a lot, and work great, but only when they're catching spam

Yes it is durable! I pulled off some "not so straight" landings where I thought for sure I would hear "SNAP" but it keeps right on taken the abuse.

First run out with it. Totally stock setup. Might try heavier diff fluid up front and could use swaybars. Handled great overall though

I agree this truck can take the stress of 4wd racing. I had a few rough runs this past weekend with some hard landings... Some my fault other not, but that is racing. I have yet to break any parts on the truck. Very happy with the durability.

One point I want to speak to is the belt skipping issue under heavy brakeing. I have found you can run the belt pretty loose but you have to pay close attention to how much breaks you are running. The RX8 and 550 motors can generate alot of braking force. I have found the best practice is to turn your endpoint down until you cannot hear the belt skip under full throttle to full break (say at the end of a front staight...) I found this setting to be the perfect amount of breaks without locking up the wheels. I was on medium traction track at the time.

Just my thoughts...
