Default Shock Setup?

Guys,

Half rebound on all four shocks or just the fronts? The setup sheet in the manual only says half rebound for the fronts and is blank for the rears?

Can anyone clarify for me? Thanks!

Jim

Anyone?

I did build them both at Half Rebound just to start with, which is when I found the above issue.

Just took the shocks apart for the first time and tried to follow the associated video on how to build them emulsion style. When i take the bladder out of the shock i dont see any o ring in the cap like he says in the video. And sorry for the dumb question but if there is a bleederscrew hole why is there a little hole under it too. It leaks out of there. Not good with shocks only have built a couple before. Please fill me in

I am running a TC Spec Ver. 2 with an Icon 4.5 550 and it runs awesome. Very smooth. Speedo is about 120 without the fan and 86 with the fan. If you don't have the Ver 2 you might still be able to trade up with LRP. Gearing is 12/62 32 pitch. Running at West Coast RC indoor, clay track. Check out LiveRC if you want a feel for the size.

This is my problem too...I raced mine for the first time yesterday and I had my servo always wanting to veer to the right or left. I'm wondering if my servo has just gotten old and tired (it was doing steering duty for a kyosho st-rr for a while)? Today I could center the servo & checked it in front of my house...I would go up and down the street a little and come back & it would be off center again! I haven't pulled off the servo arm yet to see if it's the arm...I hope I don't have to buy another servo...I didn't crash enough yesterday to warrant it, but then again it maybe that it's just old and has lost it's centering ability? A few people have posted this same problem...have you guys fixed it? Please let me know...thanks!

Default sway bars SC104x4

I see all over the forms people asking about the sway bars. They help I race at a high traction clay track. The set up with sway bars is working for me, after a week of tuning. Ok the setup that works for me "now" (time is the only constant.) 10,000w front diff and 40w front shocks, 3k rear diff 37.5 rear shocks, the sway bars mounted no mods from my jammin. front sway 1.5mm rear is 2mm. I hope this helps someone...

The seals for the emulsion set-up are in the bag with the spare pistons and up travel clips.

the shock build video @
teamassociated SC10 4x4_Shock_Build video (lol can't post a link, new member)
No rebound and no bladders works well for me. The o ring came in your shock rebuild bag in the kit.

Nice sway bars! Hopefully the AE ones will be out before the end of this month! I sure could have used them yesterday at west coast!

Ok, help guys, someone go grab your cvd shaft with a pair of pliers, and see if the cup moves around a bit, mine does, it's the same both front and rear, about 2-3 mm at the end of the cup in all directions????

Just did that and there is little to no movement on any of my cvd cup. the whole thing moves the amount between the barring and the pin
