Actually I'm thinking the blitz hexes won't work. The sc10 axle is 6mm at that location vs 5mm for the blitz.

Any other options? I used plastic hexes on my 2wd and they do wear out.

I found that on high traction tracks with the clicker locked in the belt would skip if I went from full throttle to full brake like AE claims. BUT if I pushed on the brakes like you would a car it would brake hard and not skip. Think of it at your ABS.

Tekno Slash hex's are 6mm... Set screw on the hex also, no loosing pins.

Has anyone used the Epic Duo 3 in this or any other trucks? How was it? I have run the 540 ones with good results.

Very cool. Have you tried them on the SC10? May need to pick up a set of those.

OK guys, on turnbuckles...

LNS11074
LNS11078
LNS11079
The first one is close enough to 65mm to be "good 'nuff". The 2nd one is 3.125", which is 5mm shorter than what's spec'd stock. LNS11079 is 3.25", which is 82mm.

So, LNS 11074 and LNS 11079 are the Lunsford turnbuckles we should be ordering for this truck, right?

Should we be putting RC8 rod ends and ball ends on from the get-go, or are these suckers gonna be stout enough? ThunderbirdJunkie's experience with AE's ballcups on 1/10 stuff (never had a 1/8 AE car, and the SC10 4w seems to fall in between) would normally suggest otherwise, but he has high hopes for this truck since it's all new.

Guy in the trader forum is selling one for $370ish. You seem like the perfect person to buy it.

Where are you guys measuring ride height from? I have the FT ride height gauge and I can only assume you measure the ride height just behind the front wheels to the chassis from the side, and just in front of the rear wheels, again from the side? Otherwise the front and rear kick-up throws it off??

Marquee thinks it is most likely faster than lil t-birdy would ever be at the track.

I measure it from the lowest part of the chassis front and rear, just before where the kick-up starts. Not sure if that's correct or not, but it's ran well for me at 27mm to that point front and rear. I measure it with my 70 cent ride height gauge - 14 nickles works out to 26.5 something mm
