What connectors is everyone using?
I use deans but they are not holding up. Not handling the current. I use 4C Lipos.
If you are using deans how old are they? The one on the ESC is the one not lasting for me.

Ive had great luck with Traxxas connectors.. been using them for about 2 years with no problems what so ever.

I use EC5 connectors and like them very much. Easy to solder and solid connection. Plus if needed make good bullet connectors on their own.

My kid's slash has the Traxxas ones - pretty nice too. But for soldering the EC5's are easier, IMHO. I prefer soldering into a cup vs. flat spades.

I've been using Deans connectors ever since I converted my buggy (last August) and never once had a problem with them. What gauge wire are you using?

6mm bullet connectors for me. Been through Traxxas and Deans and was not happy with them. If I could go back in time I would go with the EC5 connectors. Same as the bullets but protected with the plastic casing.

Smile EC5 connectors

Any one give me a link for these connectors? What are the ones on the Gens Ace 40c 14.8v, they look like bullets inside a red moulded caseing.

18 or 19 with a 43 spur. Maybe even higher. Depends on the track. I run the 2050 with a 43/16 or 43/17 on 4s. Big tracks I can go to an 18.

19 worked great for me on a medium sized outdoor track. Controlled but very fast and 130 degrees after a 12 minute main.
