Pics as promised!
Never liked painting black bodies..but I had 4 bottles of black leftovers..so I got lazy..but it came out nice

Wish the motor could go lower
Can't find out why I can use the grid motor mount without putting the motor riser...Body rubs against the motor wires due to the motor bieng high.. :/

Ive gotten the chance to drive the eco a few weeks ago and IMO it was very impressive, much more stable and not as twitchy, this would depend on setup also, but the one I drove was right out of the box with stock settings. Would like to test ride the

lol...your right about the 100 timing setting, not sure what he meant to set nuetral width to 5 or 10 he might of meant never to go below 5 as factory setting is 56 or so.

one roller ready to race! phew
I took every screw out
-Installed a new GRID mount, never to be used by me
-New machined aluminum front hubs
-replaced with new, or cleaned every bearing
-25/25 newly rebuilt shocks (which didn't need it, they were spotless inside)
-All new shock boots
-5,5,5 diffs, sanded and super clean with Mugen gaskets and new gaskets
-replaced a bunch of rough bushings
-scrubbed every spec I could off of it
smoother than it's ever been and I'm not even going to run it
I enjoyed every second of the process
now onto number two...

Please read the tekin forum. The t8 motors do not work like a 540 size motor with timing. Your added timing will just create heat issues. I have NEVER seen a tekin setup for off road 8 scale with that much timing used.
Why would you set up you equipment in case of failure of the sensor
Do not listen to me and especially do not listen to these other people. Just get on the tekin forum and ask. Check out all the setups on teamtekin.com.

Oh and your solid black looks 100x better then the hack job I did to my kit body. I dont think I will ever try and paint anything ever again. I think I must have gotten some silicone spray on it or something because the paint was fish eyeing, running, and bubbling. I cleaned it all off sanded the body and tried again and had the same problems. Its a shame because I really like the body too.
Anyone try a Bitty Designs body? My painter got one by mistake and asked if I wanted it painted up so I said yes but now I am wondering if its going to fit. I have an old Proline Crowd Pleaser that looks very similar and it hits the battery and doesnt sit on there quite right.
