Never ran mod before... what gear ratio to start with for a 8.5 and sxx v2. Would you use timing with it? First try I did 19/87 no timing in motor or speedometers but was same speed as my Gemini 13.5 lol

Im running an sxx v2 and an 8.5 Epic D3 with 22/81 gearing. hasn't been above 115, and my boost profile is on the default - 3.

Tried the lt yellow rear kyosho and dark yellow fronts, liked the way it jumps. Lost steering though. Any suggestions?

Does anyone here know the weight differences between the aluminum rear chassis plate and the plastic one? Or the weight difference between the steering parts (the steering rack, caster block, and steering block w/axle)?

Thanks a ton!! When I check out the rear chassis plate on amazon it says the weight for both the plastic one and all the aluminum one's is the same so I know something is wrong there :/
