I go to your local Post Office. Most of them have a lobby that's open 24 hours for post office box users. And, there's a really nice scale typically available 24 hours. The scale they have is super accurate and according to our post master, its re calibrated every day. I started using it for Pinewood Derby cars (max 5 oz!) and found it to be dead on.
I've gone a couple of times during the day too and the clerk has come over and helped just because he wanted to see my truck up close. A few weird looks from customers too during the day, but I can handle that.

B4 Rear Wings...
Is there a reason why so many drivers leave theirs clear and don't paint them? Is it because they get torn up eventually quicker than the main body so why bother? Or, is there a competitive advantage that some see? I always paint mine.

It's purely looks, the paint eventually rubs off and becomes ugly looking. What some people do is use scotchbrite pads to frost the wings by rubbing in circular motion on both sides of the clear wing.

1) I hate painting
2) I go through a wing about once a month and don't want to paint every time a put a new one on
3) I don't mind the look of clear wings
4) They seem to look like crap fairly quickly, the paint gets rubbed off by the shocks, my tires, and the tires of those climbing over me

Yep....just use scotch brite and scratch em up a little... after you get a few larger scratches from racing or playing you can just hit it again and it usually cleans up pretty good. Just about got my NEW B4 ready to rip.....its the replacement for my sold 22.

Makes sense. I couldn't see any competitive reason to not paint other than being able to see your wheels better or something. I know the carpet guys like white wheels for that reason they tell me. Didn't seem to matter much on off-road.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks for that idea
And it definitely looks good with all of the blue/neon yellow option parts you have!
