I THINK people are trying to see if it gives them more stability, The TLR 22 is longer so people are trying to see if a longer B4 will work. To me there are probly many other design aspects involved in the 22 that make it work, suspention geometry, chassis CG/weight, among a few. I think for a longer B4 to work they may need to make other engineering changes..

Agree, It wouldn't suprise me if it's been tried by AE team drivers, I would guess that if they have they probly found no performance gain with the current car design or we would see them running it. Or maybe not, they may have test a longer car and found things they like and will simply save them for the next car. No need to play their cards when the current car is still fast.

Question for you guys. I'm currently deployed in Afghanistan and I bought a b4.1. I bought the ball diff and the new bearings and when I install it the outdrives will slide left and right once it is in the tranny case. What am I doing wrong? Everything is put together right on the ball diff itself I had a experienced guy help me make sure I built it right. This is a new hobby for me and I love it, but stumped at what I am doing wrong.
