The bag seems to be from this store in Germany.

Not on their site yet, the article mentions April. Seems too good to not have other companies use the same format.

You guys use the bags for charging, storage, transportation or all 3? I store and charge in an ammo box. Haven't transported them yet.

I have a couple of lipo bags from hobbypartz that I never use. I don't even see anyone at the track using them.

Yeah, I got a chuckle from Seville Bravo this past weekend about my lipo sack. I'd rather be safe than sorry. I know the likelihood of something happening is slim. But I still don't want to ruin anything but the batteries if they give out.

I started out with everyone's favorite, the RX8/1900 combo and a 19 tooth pinion. After 3 laps of practice I was forced to switch over to my backup MMM/2200 combo. The Tekin just could not handle all of my belly slap landings I guess. It was smooth before it quit working. The MMM I have is the older version, V2.99, and the motor has a ton of run time on it. The metal seal on the front bearing was actually loose inside the top of the rotor inside the motor when I took it apart to clock the front part of the case. I cleaned the bearing, lubed it with oil, and put some AE black grease on it for a make shift seal. I re-installed the metal bearing seal (that was broken) and turned the bearing around so the front housing held the seal in. It lasted through practice and all 3 rounds of qualifying. I ended up qualified 9th in the A-main, but had to leave before they got around to the 36th, and the 41st mains. Not bad for the 1st time out I think.
My E-car was hooked up much better than my nitro. I was running the stock setup suspension wise, with 30wt front oil, 25wt rear oil, 10 hole pistons, and blue Jammin springs all the way around. Everything else was per the setup sheet. I was getting 15 minutes during practice on the PNB track with my Turnigy 4500mah 4s packs. They would take 4480 mah back into them after the 3.2v cutoff kicked in. After the 10 minutes quals. they were @ 3.88v per cell and took 3000-3100mah to reach full charge.
I will be trying the new M2C shock pistons soon. I have heard that they actually make a significant difference.

Stephen
Id be happy to take that Tekin off your hands for you. how do $100 sound?

Default 1700 on 4S or 5S

I have a 1700 Tekin and was curious if anybody is running this on 4S? If so, does it have plenty of top end on the 4S, or would 5S be best?

My opinion is PURELY speculatory since I havent even driven my buggy yet... but I would say that on 4s it would be good for short tight tracks... 5s would give you the bit higher overall speeds which you may need on "normal" tracks... and I am sure you could even get up into the 6s range and run a smaller pinion to get the same effect...

1700 is probably going to be a bit lacking on top end for most with a 4S.

I've run a 1700 on 4S quite a bit INDOOR... But outdoor I think you'd be at a bit of a disadvantage.

I thought the M2C pistons were pretty much the same as the 10 x 1.1 tapered AE pistons. They're not on M2C's web site anymore, for whatever reason.

Default Knurling Double Nut Wrench (5.5, 7.0mm)

Not sure how thin the walls are but looks like it should fit the top of the shocks.

Call them directly. The pistons are different that the AE ones. Some people got them @ the PNB and ran them there and said there was a difference. That track was blown out pretty bad, so it was probably a good test area.

That is what I thought a bit ago. Just ordered another $100 in spare parts, oils, ride height gauge etc.

It never ends!
