He 7954 isn't titanium gear. That's where the higher cost comes from. The 7955 is.

But your stupid ass online system still says TODAY!!!
+1. I really hate UPS right now...I understand the weather was a big problem. It was a problem for everyone. However, every single FedEx package shipped to me, and that I shipped out arrived on time. 2nd day, overnight, whatever. No delays.

However, an order from Seattle shipped via UPS took two weeks to make it to my place. It actually made its way onto the truck for delivery one day, but then was taken back to the distribution center with a message saying it was an emergency condition at 5:34pm!! This was after the streets had been clear here for a good 3 or 4 days.

Then there was the package from A Main that I paid extra for 3 day shipping. It took 8 days to get here...

Otherwise, I've never really had a problem with UPS, except the welder they delivered to the wrong address many years ago.

I try to ship FedEx whenever I can, though...

I ordered some stuff from Tower .. Thursday of last week...

I got my stuff that Saturday

No offense to the loyal A-main's, but if Tower had everything they have... I'd be a one stop shopper.

EDIT: Btw, I live in NY. Albany to be Exact.
I like A Main's products, and I order from them pretty regularly. Ground from A Main takes a really long time (like 1 week!), but shipping ground from Tower only takes 2 days. A Main and Tower are usually the only two places I order from. If it's something I really want, then I'll pay A Main for the 3 day shipping. Then the shipping is much faster.

Step one is admitting you have a problem Gregg, so you're doing well!

I don't think there are any mods other than having to either solder bullet connectors onto the MMP or just solder the wiring directly to the motor. IIRC, you'll need to set the ESC up for hybrid sensored mode through the Castle Link.

I have an MMP, and I ran it in my RC8Be, but with a Neu non-sensored motor. Worked fine, except you can't run 6S with it...it says you can, but when I tried, the ESC would not work. It worked fine on 5S, so I know the ESC was set up properly.

Also the BEC is a little weaker in the MMP, so you'll want an external BEC.

No Savox love in this thread.

I might have found the source of my weird sound. The RX8 was rubbing on the CVD cup on the rear gearbox. When I changed the wiring, it must have been pulling on the RX8 ever so slightly and turned it so that one corner was hitting the cup. The Zeal tape is pretty thick and cushy, so it's easy to turn the ESC. I just pulled it up, used a new piece, and mounted the RX8 closer to the outer edge. Problem solved.

I also fixed my rear camber links. Thanks for pointing that out guys. I'm hoping to make it out to the RC track the middle of next month. I have too much other crap going on to go right now.

BTW, my wife and I went to go see Cirque du Soleil Ovo. Great show. Not as good as Ka in Las Vegas, but a really good show. I just wish the seats weren't so darn small. When my wife complains that the seats are small, they're really small! Believe it or not, they were smaller than airline coach seats. Really!

As for Gregg's sickness, I'm just as bad, but I have multiple hobbies. I'm looking forward to the DEX408, though. That'll be my next car.

I'm jealous of you guys doing some racing this weekend. I really want to go, but I need to get a bunch of work done on the full scale car, and I think we're going fridge shopping later this morning.

The good thing about it is, I will be selling everything except my 2 associated cars, as soon as I get off my a$$ and put them up for sale. I've had a few people ask about my Caster from it just being posted in my signature. One thing is for sure, you get low balled to death on this site. So I'll probably be posting everything on eBay. You take $100 off of a brand new kit that's never been ran and people still want more.

If you had a tekin, you would not need the cap.

You do need a cap when riding your car and the sun gets into your eyes.

Ain't that the truth!!!!

I still want to sell my RC10B4, but all the offers have been low. Not too bad, but some of the first offers were crazy. Guy offered me $160 shipped for the roller, spares, and 3 LiPos.

Speaking of other cars, what do you guys think of the TC6? The place where I would do some RC racing has a carpet track as well. Maybe even try a pan car...those things look fun, but I don't think there's anyway you could run a pan car in a parking lot. Could probably run a TC6 in a parking lot, no? Maybe an X-Ray or Tamiya TRF417?

If I get an onroad. It will probably be when serpent converts theirs into brushless. I also like the Ofna GTP2e, and it's like $200.
