LMAO, What I really love is watching all the Nitros run for two minutes then have to tune or fix this or fix that, you catch my drift. Nitro seem to be too much time and trouble. So what if electric is more expensive, it's way more fun to drive, charge, drive, charge, drive (maybe have to fix something) then drive some more! Heck if you have three batteries you barely have any down time excpet for cooling.

I just wonder if the DEX408 is going to be just shy of $700, like the DNX408. It's not going to be a cheap car for sure...

It has not been released yet. Will require saddle packs, so packs like the Gens Ace that fit the RC8Be perfectly won't fit the DEX408. It's going to be one slick car, though.

I also wanted to say something about the LRP speed control. If i remember correclty i recall reading that it only runs in sensored mode all the time which creates a great deal more heat in the motor. If for no other reason i think that is a good enough reason to avoid it.

Gregg, I know you like Caster, and they have a 1/8 electric buggy that is more similar to the DEX408 than the RC8Be:

I wonder how much they go for? Looks like they use a lot of 7075 aluminum, which is nice. The body is pretty fugly, though.
I'd probably still wait for the DEX408, though.
