I think the T7150 is the part number. Note that quite a few of the part numbers for the RC8 start with T71XX.

Tower's web site shows the PN to be T7150BLUE for the blue piece:

Nice link. That 7150-T7751 is impressive. I originally had my brake caliper brackets made out of 7075-T6 aluminum, and the plan was to anodize them; however after doing some research on cracking and corrosion issues with 7075 (plus the coolant my machinist used reacted with the 7075), I switched to 6061 and increased the cross sectional area of the brackets to ensure adequate strength & fatigue resistance. The 7075 plate was pretty expensive. I can't imagine what 7150 would have cost, but I would have been interested in seeing if making brackets out of 7150 would have been possible.

Doug, you want the servo horn to the parallel to the arm on the steering rack that connects to the turnbuckle. That will keep the steering more linear across the servo horn's arc (this is one reason why I don't care for cars with a steering rack like the RC8's, but with the servo laying on its side).

Take a look at the setup videos on YouTube for the RC8. There is a section that discusses steering. I set mine up like that and it works great.

Once you put that car on dirt, you will find you need to go back to 3 degrees to keep the rear end planted for traction.

Done and done!! Hey i just traded for an SC8e!! youve got one dont you? im really excited, ive always wanted one, cant wait for it to show up!! Gonna drop in a Tekin combo for sure, just deciding between the 2000 or 2250 truggy setup.
