Will it be 2 pieces like the stock unit? 2 pieces makes working on the diff a lot easier.

Although going by the motor mount i'm sure the Grid one will be pretty sweet.

Initial thoughts, they are definitely good quality (just fitted them). Less resistance and smoother imo. I'll give you a shout when the other lot arrives.

+1!!
+2.

If you don't use the diff riser with the Grid mount does the chassis need to be milled or is there enough clearance?

You don't have to mod anything to remove the diff riser with the Grid mount.

Hey guys just wanted to put a feeler out there. I just came up on about 12 or 13 sets of used tires. An assortment of Pro-Line Crimefighters and Bow-Ties and a bunch of Panther tires (not as familiar with Panthers line-up of tires). None of them is less than 90% tread remaining with the majority being at 95% or better. Just wanted to gauge interest on this thread since were all a little more familiar with one another. Would there be any interest in this lot of tires? Maybe $20 or so per set if someone wanted them all??

Cool. Everything's done now apart from wiring the ESC to the motor and then fitting the motor/mount. Think i'm gonna end up waiting again as the m3/m4 10/12mm screws i ordered ain't even shipped yet. Might just fit the std mount for now so i can at least give it a spin. Away with work for 2 weeks on Monday so this weekends the last chance i'll have for a while..

You can use the stock screws if you use the diff riser. I'd just build it with the diff riser and Grid mount, then when you get the shorter screws in, remove the diff riser, and install the shorter screws.

The avid bearings are good, and they are at a great price I run the revolutions.
