Nova uses this method aswell.
Interesting point... It didnt make sense that they were boost ports, because there's no intake port above them to "charge." That does make more sense tho.

RC CAR magazine has the best reviews & honest assessments, not reprints of factory hype to retain advertising money ! JMO

Yeah, too bad they left me hanging after I sent in two combos to get reviewed, and the publisher decided to discontinue the magazine. I'll never do business with hi-torque publications again.

I'm sending the GXIIs to the team drivers. I only got a few, and it's more important that they're running them right now. i'll have plenty later.

Finally got the combos back, but they're opened and I cant sell them.

Hey guys,
I'm back from the toy fair... I was told there will be a new 7 port engine coming along with the 5RHO. I thought they will only make 5 port engines in the future? Can anyone clarify this?

I was told they were concentrating on high output 5 Ports for the foreseeable future (but who knows how long that is). Seems things can quickly change, so I wouldnīt bet against it. I would say the 3 Port may have done itīs dash though, just going on sales figures. It is a great little motor, but the GX 5īs and 7īs just seemed more popular, so if there is another GXII motor it would most likely be a 7.

I've seen some CAD for a 7 port GXII sleeve, so it's entirely possible. I do know they were testing a 7 port in Taiwan in the Sept-October timeframe of last year, but it was decided that the 5 port delivered the best powerband. Dont get me wrong- a 7port would be sick! If it's offered, you bet we'll bring it stateside.
