Nice! Let me know what you think of the HotWire GUI. I'm not a big fan.

BTW, I finally glued my first set of tires nice and straight! I know, I know, it's a small victory, but after mounting more than a few sets crooked, I did a little searching and came across this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQEU7RSptdU. I followed those steps and it came out pretty darn good. I think one other step that I did helped a lot. I mounted the unglued wheels & tires on my balancer and gave them a spin. If the sidewall was out of whack, I adjusted. I kept doing this until everything was straight. Then went on to gluing. I was gluing a set of V3 Pro-Line wheels and tires, and I did have to use rubber bands.

I'm heading out to ace hardware to get my screws now. Won't have much time to look at it tonight. And Billy, don't tell me you screwed around with aligning the tires on the rim. that's what plumbers putty is for. Ball a little bit of it up and stick it to the inside of the wheel where it's off balance. Lol

Decent vid. Proline one's alright as well. All much the same really.

Gregg, keep us posted with the hotwire. I've got one sitting here so keen to hear your findings with it.

As far as the shock tool goes, I bought one of those for my tenth scale buggy back in the day and never ended up using it. I'm sure somebody makes one of those for eighth scale buggies...With the RC8Be, I just compress both the front and/or rear shocks on a table, eyeball them, and make the necessary adjustments.
That's for these links. This is more of the simplicity (and price) I was hoping to get - and something I can use easily in the field.

I wanted a charger I didn't need an external power supply, seemed to be no fuss with a built in balancer and safety features galore, and I chose this....

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...rger-6S-5A-50W

Opinions anyone?

What kind of charge time you think I'm looking at on a 4s 5000mah 40C on this?

And..

This shall do everything I need, yes?

Whatever you get don't waste money on the AE ride height gauge. Better off spending the money on a McDonalds.

This will definitely do everything you need and looks like a pretty decent charger. Being 50 watt it might take you a little while to charge a 4s battery, maybe 45 min to an hour for a full charge. It may not be able to charge at the max 5a on 4s and above.

I know it's a bit weak, but I have yet to find something decent all wrapped up into one without needing an external power source...

I really don't wanna mess with that crap.

I second the external power supply. For $30 more you can have a 300 watt power supply that charges a 4S battery in 20 minutes. You'll get tired of waiting over an hour to charge a battery.

could you guys give me a recommendation on this combo in this case. I know many of you run the external power source.... eh, because I'm new to this LIPO thing, perhaps a little fear came into it...

Yeah, I'm interested in some recommendations. Something within a reasonable price range fella's. Like... 100 to 225 ish.. (if possible). I'm asking because I don't know what in the hell to chose that will work.

Easier? Lol. You need to carry a ton of crap with you to the track anyway. The Junsi power supply is super small. And it's 350 watts.

icharger 206b: $139
Power supply: $69
