I never thought about mounting my esc that direction, I've got my solder posts facing the rear of the car. Something to consider I guess.

Yeah i have my esc mounted that same way. Works great like that.

i run the 2050 with 18t pinion and no boost, punch control set at 80. its definitely fast but doesnt seem uncontrollable to me. that being said i used to run the 1900 in a losi 8 2.0 and i loved that motor. i went with the 2050 relunctantly this time becuase i got it in a trade. so far ive been happy with it though. i like that with the 1900 you can tame it down for smaller tracks and it responds well to boost for the bigger tracks. im sure down the line i will try to reacquire one.

what i like is that it would give me more clearance for the body.

thanks man! a local guy painted it for me. he did a great job and also painted one for my SC10 and B44.1(that will probably be for sale soon). i still need to put a few decals on them. with the esc mounted that way, it lets you use a really short sensor wire from a touring car for a much cleaner wiring job

I don't think 2 iPads are worth that. I sold my iPad in June anyway. So that wouldn't work. Ill be in Rohnert Park for a birthday party.
