Please lets not go there !

There are other good threads on RC tech that started out well, then once fuel is mentioned it turned into a pissing contest.

Lets just keep it GO related. PPPPLLLEEEAAASSSEEE.

That would never happen.....................Unless you HEARD from someone that GO engines is just a copy of another brand. Nobody with a known reputation would ever say something like that though

Hey guys

Just got past the 1.5 Gallon mark and now my gx5 port is finally broken in and wow she flys just needed to lean the bottom end slightly as it suddenly became rich.

Just after some advice of what steps I can do to help my engine
Replace conrod? Or replace front bearing as I have read many pages back that people make changes

Thanks all !!!

i would just check the conrod for play at TDC, if there is not play you should be good untill the 3 gallon mark, as long as you heat you engine before starting.

you are correct. i run oddonell 97T's with no problems. I think its the Go T3 i also use. the one that comes with the motors. otherwise i just go with the OD plugs.

Go T3 or T4, OSP3 or Odonnell 97T.

As for fuel, it's best to run something that doesnt have parafin wax as a lubricant. No fuel manufacturer will outright say it, but if you've got black deposits on your piston head and/or crank, odds are you're running really rich or your fuel has wax as a lubricant.

Fuels from the major brands will typically have the best blends, but look at signatures around here and find out what's in your local shop. If you try a fuel and have trouble tuning, switch to another.
