had a glance at some of the other novarossi prices in his ebay store..ouch piston/sleeve 150-190 bucks for a top engine and that's without a rod..Up to 150 bucks for a balanced crank..I do love the price of my GO spares

They are about $3/ea on ebay if you search for: Nova Carb or use the following link: http://cgi.ebay.com/Novarossi-18000-...item3a594c475f

Who said anything about bearings or any other novarossi parts? I was posting a $3 part that is available in case folks like myself break the carb retaining lock and need a replacement. I contacted several other folks on here about getting a few and none of them had them instock, so i bought the nova version for $3.99 and they are identical.

I'm all about go engines, i have 4 of them, so i'm not going anywhere else for quite some time. I'm getting in the final piece to my gx5r hopefully today and will begin breaking it in hopefully this week. But while putting the carb retainer in it broke and the screw won't come out, so i had to chuck it and find a replacement. I must have had the threads crossed when screwing it in, luckily it didn't damage anything else, but still left me searching for a replacement part.

I agree, nova's are overpriced. I just finished buying part by part a new gx5r engine, it costed me just under $130-140 for each part (crankcase, piston / sleeve / conrod, carb with inserts, coated crankshaft) i just have to assemble it, which is very easy to do. Thats an entire engine for less than the cost of a piston and sleeve. And when my piston and sleeve need replacing i can get it for about $50 on ebay. Not too shabby if you ask me.

glad you found one fairly quick, most nova parts will fit the GO engines.

Was out at Thunder Alley Sunday morning. Was getting ooos and awws over my GO GX5R. I was running it a hair rich because it's still new, but was still pulling everyone on the straight and out punching them on the bottom. Can we say monster?

Will be reppin it up at HCR this Saturday!
