If I recall someone pointed out in one photo that had Sakura swing shafts on a gear diff, which are 46mm.

I may be wrong though.

Std driveshaft lenght is ok, the ball of the shaft is a little oversize compared to the gear diff outdrives. You can dremmel slightly and fits perfect.

Also the diff is marginally wider than the std TC6 so you cant run the std silver washer before the outdrive bearing.

Oh well.. looks like I'll be spending my money on a new nitro tourer for next season instead of a TC6. I was at my local hobbyshop this weekend and their computer said Nov 20th. Now it's early December? What year???

I too wish the car was here, but please take all the time you need to get it right. My TC5 suites me well and I look forward to the improvements when they get here.

I am sure like the TC5 the car will be able to be competitive for a long time, without needing to re-release the car every 6 months like some other company , maybe that is less exciting, but if you're at the 99% mark why does everything need to be re-engeineered every year?

A lot of TC5 runners at my club have jumped ship, mostly to TOP Photon, and most of them are breaking way more parts then they ever did with assosiated or xray, and only Assosiated has LHS support... You can only win races that you finish.

Thanks again for the great products, cant wait to have it in my hands...

I will stand with associated. every time they release a car, on road or off it is sure to be a winner. they dont need to update it every year. i cant wait for the TC6 though.

Yeah it is hard to wait, and I hate it...
Right now till X-Mas I am busy with races. The delayed TC6 availability means that I have to invest some extra 100€ to keep my TC5 in a good condition.
Normally the TC5 would have become a Lightweight-900Gr.-TC till december...

i always laugh when i read that you guys cant wait so your gonna buy an xray or a top car my tc5r keeps up with all the t3 and top cars at my track. i can match or beat their lap times without a problem its only another month! nobody has any patience anymore. i will wait for my tc6 and not loose sleep over it. associated is just making sure its perfect
