They might have to change the body too right? Its going to let allthe dirt/rocks in would not want that in my body or bearings.

Thanks again.
The BCE is an aftermarket chassis. The other chassis pictured below the BCE post is a stock AE chassis that has been sent to a aftermarket company in Switzerland where it's re-milled to be lighter than the stock chassis and then they send it back to you. I think I saw that it cost around $140 U.S. after all is said and done!

Richard saxton has the aluminum ones that they will be taking to the worlds, but they are not production yet. Pretty cool stuff. Hopefully after the worlds they will start production on this stuff...

I finally finished my RCB8e and connected the deans to my Turnigy but everytime I connect the battery to the buggy I get a spark; is this normal?

Also, I'm having problems getting the Castle Creations 2200 to sit correctly in the motor mount, is anyone else having this problem?

The spark is normal, all my mamba monster ESC's do that. 2200 fits just fine, it barely touches the foam pad but it fits.

Spark is normal. The 2200 should fits just perfectly in the motor mount. You many need to compress the foam tape under the motor to get it to sit better. You can also install the motor and set gear mesh with the entire motor, motor mount, and diff assembly removed from the chassis, and then screw it down into the chassis.

Thanks jboquire, that puts my mind at ease. I also purchased some EC5 connectors which I think will work better than the deans on that 8 guare wire on the Turnigy lipos. I also hear they are easier to connect.

As for the 2200, I guess I just need to mess with it a bit more to get it to sit correctly. At one point it looked like the screws were to short but I'll check that again.

I read on Neobuggy that the new towers were initially produced in CF but a few were produced in aluminum for certain drivers that felt the CF would break easily. It seams to be driver preference.
