What plug and how much nitro are you using?
Sounds like too rich LSN and/or too cold plug.

Stock plug i believe.
Its not LSN, and I doubt its the plug temp, its a rotten plug.
I need to know if I can use GRP plugs, cause its all I currently have in stock.

I had the same problem with my p5, the plug was DOA, haha. I really don't know if the GRP plugs work. Is it a turbo plug engine or a standard plug? That would be the factor I think. If it's a standard plug then sure, if it's a turbo, you might need to hear from Monty on that one. I don't run turbo. Good luck man.

Had it running through 2 tanks stopped it about 10 times and let it cool down a bit, took like one hour, gonna spend some time with this baby before i unleash it on track.

With the "HES Tuned" P5XLT, 9853SS, OS P4 glow plug, 6.5 restrictor in a RC8B stock gearing it was out of fuel on avg 10 - 10:40. TBH, I never let it run out of fuel, I just pit at those times and the tank was close to empty. Should I try a 6.0 or 5.5 restrictor next? Or leave it alone? Its still a whole lot of motor for a buggy. I want to get the hang of this 5pt, Its bad A. I dont want to have to invest in a different pipe though.

6.0mm works very well with the 5 port in buggy , btw , that pipe on that engine has gotta be a handful !!! 9901ss/41005

Looking at getting the Plus 4 team with HES mod
I drive Mugen buggy and like a nice even power delivery but not a big bottom.
What pipe and header you recommend
I used OD97T plugs in my first Plus 4
I run 25% fuel with 12% oil (10,2)
what would be a good combo and any other info about the above that you would recommend.

hey Monty, thanks. I'll let you know when im ready for that 9901 then. I guess the 9853 is too strong on bottom end. It is awful if the track doesnt have a clean race groove. I dont think i have a 6.0mm either so i'll get that from you also. Probably be friday or saturday. ok? Also, do i need to richen or lean the needles with the 9901?

BTW, nothing wrong with that runtime, and the motor pipe combo i have now would be perfect in truggy. I hope with the 6.0mm restrictor and 9901 pipe that I could get a little more run time and smoother power delivery. Thanks for everything Monty.
