Why the roll center was raised? Probably out of ease of production.
in back to back testing with the stock pivot vs the adjustable pivot, the rear end is softer with the stock pivots, it causes the front end to feel like it is "working" more..
edit* i like the adjustables better

I prefer the stock hinge pin braces on my buggy but haven't done back to back testing on my truggy yet.
As for the mud guards? I ordered myself a slew of goodies this morning from DE for the buggy and truggy. I'll bust out the big fan and some smoke after I get them on for the official wind resistance testing.

We are getting the word out that DE Racing has just released rear Mud Guards for the Team Losi 8ight-T 2.0 truggy. These compliment the already released rear mud guards for the Team Losi 8ight series buggies. More information and pictures are available on our website at www.deracing.net.

What we really need is a taller/bigger battery lid. I see no reason for the tiny size of the losi lids. I'm sure they could have made them much larger. I'm actually surprised there aren't any aftermarket lids sold that are larger. I'm sure if someone made one, it would sell like crazy.
The losi lipo and standard nimh hump packs fit fine with the included lids, but that is about all that will fit. Even the losi lipo is a very tight fit. You can find low mah lipos that fit too, but most want at least 1500 mah in a pack.
OK done with my little rant. IMO the problem is not the box, but the lid.

yea they doo need better box covers... i think if you dremel the inside of the cover to a thin point, where its not going through but ist flexible, if you heat it hot enough and sit it on the battery to mold it it will be fine, but i didnt have the time to do that yesterday...
i like it tho...runing it unregulated is nice only 6.6v
