The aluminum servo saver doesn't perform any better it just holds up alot better and won't break. I think it is a must upgrade.

Is the plastic servo saver piece being cracked because it isnt adjusted properly (mine were extremely tight out of the box)? I've had some pretty wicked incidents and havent hurt that piece yet (knock on wood...).

i have them on both my cars, thats a weak point on the losi 8ight, i mean your not going to break every time out, it wont even be once a month type deal but it will break and if u replace it with plastic it will break again. its $20 and it will save u a race. but there is no performance difference that i see

Was there a running change or difference with the RTR servo saver? I've gone 7 months now on the original (running a 7950).

on the 2.0 they made the angle to sharp so they went back to the 1.0 style which is more rounded, thats it

I have the 2.0, was just curious if maybe they changed it since I havent had any problems. I've read about issues a number of times now and from I remember correctly, the one you want to use is the 1.0 truggy piece, correct?

you can buy the 2.0 part now, all parts have been changed, i havent seen any of the old 2.0 parts in hobby shops for some time. it has the 1.0 truggy spring and the steering posts in them now. the old stlye has a sharp angle cut, the new(back to 1.0) style is rounded now

ive just seen this arm break on the 1.0 and 2.0, its the hard crashes that break them but it seems like thats a weak point on the truggy at least, i never broke one on the buggy but i have on the truggy, i push that much harder tho too

its not the "truggy piece" per say....the spring from the 1.0T is imo what you want on both buggy and truggy and the other pieces are what we are referring to like the actual saver parts...that is what they went back to the 1.0 style.

Its easy to tell them apart...if you saver has a V shape....its a 2.0.....if its more rounded...its a 1.0
