no do not run 20%, and do not adjust the shims. run 25% that you said you have, and swap the 20 when you see us.

just wondering what the big difference is between the full mod and the race prep, seems like more people favor the race prep motor for some reason, just wondering just bought the full mod version can't wait to get her going. thanks...

Full mod spools up a little faster and revs a little higher than the race prep. Rotating assembly being lighter and ceramic bearing makes the difference.

I run the 8mm stack in mine, but some like the 7mm. Anything smaller then a 7 starts to take away from the top.
As Rob said the Full Mod internals are lightened and balanced, and come with a TKO ceramic rear bearing. The lightened internal and ceramic rear bearing make for a faster rev, more peak hp & rpm.

yup i do race at hobby hut, every other weekend or so, i know i could use 25% but i have a lot of 20%, left so i dont want that to go to waste.
i know i can take off a shim, so i can run 20% for now although i dont know how it would run though if, i break it in with 20% and than go to 25%.

ok out of the 2 pipes mentioned they both work ok, but a 086, 9901, or 2041 would be my choice. these are the best I've seen run. The OS P3 plugs are MUCH too hot, and are not recommend. I would pick up some OS P4's or P5's. I like the P5 myself, with a 2041 pipe, and a 8mm stack.
