Really, I wouldn't say the Full Mod is difficult to tune. On the contrary I find it to be very easy to handle. Responsive, yes (meaning that only subtle changes are needed to do the trick) - difficult, no.

As mentioned somewhere else in this thread, if you're having problems just go back to box settings and start over.

Please note, that I am not sponsered by EB Mods or JS Racing in any way (although I would be honored).

Default JS Race prep for sale Brand new still in plastic.

I have a brand new EB Mod JS Race Prep sealed in the plastic that I need to sell. Box was opened but the engine is still on the plastic shrink wrap. I will post picks soon.

OD plugs are too hot from all our testing/racing. You will need an OS P5 for good performance and easier tuning. Some are using OS P6 in the mods when it is hot out.

I'm using OS P3 and P4 with good results. However, the weather is not exactly warm here in Denmark and I'm using 25% nitro, due to Danish Championship regulations.

I def. noticed a tuning issue with the od97t's then went with p3's and it's been perfect.

I read this entire thread, some good info in here, a little bit of drama, real entertaining! I am going to buy one of these engines, full mod for my 8ight 2.0. I really don't see how I can go wrong, Ed and Joe run at the Hut and I do too. How much better could service get if I have a problem? Exactly.

I am new to the area but have raced at the Hut and practice up there on Wednesday's generally. Like everyone else, I like the week to go by so we can race. I am in the Marine Corps Reserve and somehow, somehow! Every time there is a big race I have to work that weekend. It never fails...I know it'll work out someday, I'll get mine.

Anyhow, I found a Dynamite 086 for a good price, should I hunt for a 2041 or just go with the cheaper 086? The 086 seems to be a top end oriented pipe, I don't find the hut to be too high speed. Is it just plain effective paired up with this engine? I am going to get some P5 plugs, those are good for the engine no matter what pipe correct?

I currently run a Losi buggy with an Orion MTE engine with O'Donnell 20%. I know the JS wants at minimum 25%. I would like to run EB Mods fuel but it's not sold at the Hut and is generally not widely available at hobby shops. Ya I know run time suffers without it but if I can't run it because I can't get it then there is no run time. I am not a big fan of switching back and forth between fuel. What would be the next best alternative, O'd or Byrons?

How come you guys don't sell your fuel at the Hut? I try to put some time in during the week because my weekends have a tendency to get hosed. I won't be able to race for at least two weeks but I will be running this engine well before that. I am just wondering, seeing as how you guys race there a lot.

the p5 will work great id pick up the 086 the pipe works great then if want to experiment and try other pipes you can. as far as fuel if you need it edd, joe, myself and a bunch of other guys that come down could always bring you fuel. or you can order it from edd or joe shipping shouldnt be to bad as its not going across the country.. just dont run the od 20%

I pulled the trigger on the full mod, an 086 pipe and some P5 plugs. Checking out shipping prices to Philly on the fuel as we speak.
