Hi to all . I've been running the picco boost .21 '13 engine so reliably that I forgot everything about the factory or base settings !!!! I changed fuel tubbings and hell broke loose !! Someone please recommend something for a well broken in motor... and from then on I'll + - tune it .

Base settings for the 5TR are HSN = 1/2 to 3/4 turn in from flush with the housing. LSN = flush to 1/2 turn in from flush. Idle screw = 3/4 to 7/8 turns in from fully closed (look at it with the carb insert removed).
Performance settings are fuel, location, and temperature specific, so you can't use anyone else's settings for your motor. Start at the base settings, and tune it for your conditions. Get it to scream on the top end, then tune the bottom for a nice, stable idle.
If you're in the ballpark, HSN should be around 1 to 1 1/2 turns in, and the LSN 1/2 to 3/4 turns in.

Normal running should be like stated above:
HSN 1/2 turn in from flush *approximately
LSN flush *approximately
Will vary depending on fuel, location...
