This engine has some grunt sounds comming out of it on that Picco pipe, my buddy Bill purchased one and it has a set on it. We drop a 51014 med turbo plug and it purred, he did alot a break-in tanks out in the parking lot before some racing with the same plug even into the main where they got it up to speed. I saw tailing me at the start of the race as we cleared the meyham but he took himself out a couple of laps later but the engine looked strong for it's first night of racing. Now I need one.

This little guy is gonna make some noise. I had some issues with my Speed about two hours before quals this w/e. So I tore the bad boy out of the box. I heat cycled 3 tanks on the box and about 5 in the parking lot. Then we put a little bench tune on it and started getting it closer on the track during quals. By the time the mains came, she was purring. It makes lots of power throughout the powerband, and....wait for it....great mileage out of a Picco! Its good for about 8 minutes right now, but is nowhere near being broke in completely. I'm confident 10+ run times are in the future when it loses some of its pinch (flywheel still gets stuck on the starter box).
One last thing, it sounds nasty, absolutely crispy evil noises comming out of this little beast. Like a well tuned KX125.
Give it a shot, its tough to find an Italian motor/pipe combo at such a great price.

We had 3ltrs on ours and cracked the 10min mark with the 6mm insert and picco pipe in the 808 even the 6mm was more than enough the 7mm would be the Truggy insert for sure..

Needle settings are just starting point. No 2 engines will ever have the exact same settings even if they are the same vehicle. I don't care what settings they are you adjust for your engine don't worry it how many turns

Sickboy thinks he can can go 18mins, man it's not a lipo powered Picco, I'm sure he'll get the 10mins on a track like Rev.

This engine a Copy of the Boost?? Case is slightly different, but everything else looks identical.. Also, RC Driver, says it is a 7+1 port.. Isn't the boost a 3 port?

It's looks like a picco P3R EVO with a EVO 4 or Boost head and button but the EVO 4 is a 5+2 that LRP motor is made by Picco not a copy

So, I am guessing they just used the best out of the P7 and the "new" Boost to make "new" engine? Thanks for the info guys.

I am stuck right now, between 4 engines for next Year. Werks B5 & B6, Nova +4, Boost, and Ofna JLR.. Leaning more toward the Werks right now, but still considering all others.. I'm a full 6 months away from purchase time, but I like to plan ahead..
