I can see the LRP has a P3R block not a EVO 4 block "look close", I think it is a mix of Picco engines.

Your right ! looks alot like a jammin case as well.... The EVO 4 has the newer case with the exhaust spring mounts on the side....I often am too busy looking into the internals that I often don't pay much attention to the case.

What kinda of run time are you seeing? I realize it changes from track to track, and weather coniditions, but an average??

We are getting better run times every tank this mill even after 3ltrs when cold will still mechanical pinch at TDC. Normally our OS mills are just hitting the sweet spot...lol, When warm this mill has such a smooth pop you have too feel it for your self. like you said we run it at different tracks and found mixed results as well we have run 10mi run times and had more in the tank and we have run 9mins as well with just vapors in the tank. I think once this thing beads in we should see constant 10min (or very close) run times. Picco has you by the balls so to speak with the way they match there header and pipes together you can not use a OS 2060 on a Picco header but im looking at running a heavy spring through the header pipe and bend one into shape to see if we can get more out of the Picco Boost. All our driving we have run the 6mm insert maybe with the 7mm you might not have to have in nailed as much. next club day i am going to the 7mm and see what we get.

Most good online shops have them Amain has them listed as well now. I would say more of a Buggy engine but i have seen it in Truggys and still does the job. We have a good 5lrs in ours now and just coming to life. I purchased the Evo 4 5 port for the Truggy with the 2046 long header and it propels the XT8 just nice. The boost does lack some top end but makes up for it on the bottom.

Has any one tryed removing the head shim under the sleeve i have but haven't run it yet. I have also found the Boost prefers 25% nitro with the standard head shims....

Well 4 lts through the engine and gave it a run this week end in the d8t truggy with the 6mm venturi installed, nice clean power from start to top end, runs out of legs at about 35 mitres down a long straight running 13/50 in the d8t ...... got through 4 heats ( 10 minutes each ) with out a pit stop but will admit it was running on fummes when i did the extra lap and the engine temps where around the 130 mark when i came in ......

My jammin 21 plus engine runs rings around it for power and run time but for the price and the smooth power supply its a handy spare engine for now.

Think it would be an awsome engine for a buggy thats for sure.....
