I've been using the OD97T and it's been really good, I started with the OD77T but it was flaming out during break in.

At least I'm not the only one. I like the idea of cranking the glow plug in hard but it stopped the problem so it seems. I had it leak out the front bearing having it rpm hang then drop down to idle. I fixed that problem with double sealed bearing.

I have about a gallon through it, two club races and a State series. if I may say it's an awsome motor....it idles for ever, very smooth power band great bottom and mid power...lacks a little top but can easily be fixed with a different pipe. I'm very pleased with the Boost, need to get me an other for the truggy.

Well into the run in of the engine in the truggy with 6 1/2 litres through the engine ready for some buggy action, will be starting to get some track time in the buggy next week end but up till now have seen 10 minute tanks no problem in the truggy but with a smaller tank in the buggy time will tell....

Well I got a Picco Boost engine and went to Revelation yesterday to get it in tune for next week JBRl event and with the temps being 100+ at Rev. would be good to size the engine up for those extreme conditions. Jammed in our med temp turbo plug and put it on the track. It's running really good and on the conservative side because of the heat did not want to harm the engine. I got some good runs and great idle setting and purred so well even upside down on occasion. The big hurdle was the mega quad 45footer which i geared my Hyper 9 to 14 and is clearing without problems, the acceleration on the Boost is nice a smooth and as grunty as my EVO3 which can put down a nice amount of power out of the corner, so i can't wait to run and see where I end up on Sat.

Can you run the standard Ofna turbo plugs or do you need to run the Ofna Picco plugs?

Just thought I would throw some of the stuff I have learned with the motor out there. The stock pipe is pretty good down low, however I bent both of the ones I have. I tried an O.S. 2060 and it really killed the power. I'm going to try a JP4 this weekend. I also run a Picco Turbo #6 plug, seems to run well for me. I'm a hammer on the throttle so I never get good fuel mileage, but I get about 8:30 out of the boost with the stock pipe combo. I would only get 7:30 out of a JX, so theres something to be said about that I suppose.
