I started leaning on one of them today and it started cutting out like it was 2 lean..only leaned it out a few hours...had good smoke and would "cut" out everytime?!?!? was weird so fattened it back up..

Had a chance to run the full mod this weekend. It fired right up and I put a race tune on it. Ran around 180 and was getting 7:30 no problem with tons of top end. Bottom is nice and smooth for buggy, after it gets off of the bottom it rips. Very pleased with the engine. I was running a ninja and I would say this motor makes more top rpm. Very pleased. Great job Ed!! Lots of people were asking about it.

if you over lean the top the bottom will bog. I get it to where it bogs like that then fatten the top 2hrs and its dialed, then i'll slowly lean the bottom till it has good snap and gets up on the pipe quick. The idle comes set out of the box so i never really touch it. if the idle jumps, the bottom is too lean. if i do ever touch the idle its no more then a hair just to fine tune the bottom/idle.

I am going to need a back up motor and most likely will be picking one up. LOL And if it is as good as people are making it out to be, might become my main motor and put the Ninja on the backup duty. I read somewhere that people recommend the full mod for buggy and stock or race prep for truggy. Is this true or no?
Thanks

I wasn't sure which way to go either, (more so in truggy) so I asked jpalessi what he thought and he said I should go full mod in both. The bottom end punch in truggy is great. I was talking to Ed and he said that the bottom end power on the dyno is the same for both the full mod and the race prep. The full mod just "feels" smoother in the power delivery. Joe or Ed can correct me if I have mis-spoken.

all I have to say about this motor is WHOOOOOHOOOOOHOOOOOO! This thing is absolutely awesome!
I managed to get 10 minute run times. I was pretty gentle on it, for the first time being ran, and at Psyco Nitro Blast this past weekend. It never reached 200*, I could have squeezed a little more out of it but didnt even need it. It would come in at 180-195 degrees without any sign of leaning out at the end of my tanks.
I was running the 7.5 restictor. Dynamite 086 and P3 plug. I cannot wait for the racing to start at my local track. Its going to be a great summer.
Thanks you EBMods!
