Slide the difference is essentially that 107 is a bit more aggressive/punchy compared to 110 which feels smoother.
107 also seems to keep motors a bit hotter than 110.
For gearing you will drop at least 5-6 6teeth but it is still track dependent.
On my 17.5 i dropped from a 58mm roll out to a 48/47mm rollout and am faster than my previous lap times with the 312 firmware.
Would recommend the 110 Firmware, it just feels more consistant and smooth.

wonder if you can help guys,
im racing with a SP GT 1.0 ESC and a SP 13.5 V3 in a very small indoor carpet and im not able to get some serious torque from the motor.
due to the size of the track im using a 7.7FDR and the motor is practically cold after 5 minutes of race.
i havent played with any timing on the motor so is set as out of the box.
the esc settings are DRRS 9 AND AMTS 8.
Any tips to help me?

this is the track in regard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBZgz9AFNfs

if motor is still cool then gear up a bit more.
If wanting a bit more rip you can pull back timing a bit.

we ran yesterday at k90 with the new software and it is really good, had to drop 4 teeth on the pinion and the motor temp was at 79 deg c after about 6 min running, lets see what happens at the nats now?

another quick question, can the firmware be changed on a GT1.1 ??

i suggest dropping another tooth or 2 and see if you can keep the same lap times with a cooler motor. What timing where you running ? default 22.5 ? if yes you can pick up the timing to get a bit more rpm or drop to 18 to keep the punch..

firmware cant be updated on the 1.1 unfortunately.

Anyone know why a Speed Passion 2.0 GT LPF when using the included programmer (NOT the LCD One) would not go up to option to enable or disable heat protection as stated on the handheld unit? The ESC works fine, but when programming it via the hand held, it won't go that high (I beleive its option 11, stops on 10)
