thanks for the help.

Ok, thanks. and what about esc settings with a speedpassion 2.0 for timing and stuff like that ?

I geared the 4.0 V2 motor around 8.75 to 9.25 depending on the size of the track.

For Mod I've ran :
Drag brake#3
DRRS #5
brake force #2
Initial brake#1
neutral #2
timing #3 and #4 depending on track

The local guys are running the 4.0 on lipo and the general gearing is around 21 - 24mm roll out track depending
Use 205g firmware or 323 and dont run timing higher than 18 deg with DRSS 5 or 6.

Basically we are talking about a launch timing (low) that gets the car moving from standstill.

Acceleration range timing advance. Start RPM to End RPM presets and the number of degrees of advance presets per 1000rpm of change (as per Tekin, but it can literally be anything depending on motor, track, etc).

Top Speed Boost; advance of X degrees IF full throttle was held on to for preset amount of time. And tekin even says this doesn't work for short tracks!

All makes very logical sense to me!
I think SP would need something different than what you speak of so it does not seem to copy what Tekin has.

According to this http://forum.teamtekin.com/phpbb3/vi...hp?f=30&t=2413 from tekin's forum, it looks like a software thing! The key is timing change proportional to motor speed. It's variable timing!

All of those I've been ask Adam on previous,
What is Called Dynamic Advanced Multi Timing,
it is not only, Physical Timing (motor) and Advanced Multi Timing (software).
Dynamic Advanced Multi Timing
which is now noted on GT 2.1 Pro Stock
it's likely different timing on different rpm edge.
Which software doing.

While torque is maintained.

For thoose asking about a 4.0t setup, have a look at this file from the Europe guys, details what they are running (it's included with the v1.32 software download from the SP site).

Also, regarding 12th.... Elliott Harper was running a GT2.0 in his CRC this weekend, TQing and winning the Stock class on the saturday (10.5/4cell). Asked him about his settings, and they are as follows;
Firmware; 107Stock
Motor; Comp v3
Drag brake; 0%
Initial Brak; as Drag
DRRS; 6
ESC timing; max (26.25)
Motor timing; max (+10)
Voltage cutoff; off
Gearing; 56mmpr
He did mention the motor was getting a bit too hot... so maybe use thoose as a baseline, but with a little less ESC timing to start. He also mentioned that he tried higher on the DRRS setting, but felt he had the same speed with more heat, so no need to go higher.

Thumbs up 12th Scale Firmware....

Wonder how he was getting the 107 profile to work with only a 4 cell. I have tried it along with a few others here with the 1S and no luck.....must be just that little extra voltage bump from 3.7 to 4.8 that makes the difference. Although I just Won and TQ'd in a local event this past weekend with my XII with a 1S and V3 17.5 using the GT 2.0 LPF. I used the 312a firmware and it worked really well.

Can"t wait for the new 2.1 to come out.....

Default new stock software

hi guys

I have a SP v2.0 LPF which I have just loaded the new stock softeware on and was wondering if and by how much I should change my roll out by ? currently running it in 10.5 touring class.

another question, I see in the new v1.32 software that there is 2 stock profiles, what is the diff between the two and which one would best suite 10.5 ?

tx in advance
