That's what I'm talking about!
Of course not, but don't go jumping down my throat! I've been listening to this sht for almost a year now. Russ Jones is doing this, then that. All along feeding us a line of BS! Knowing all along he was lying to us. Hell I went straight to the company and asked why he wasn't canned! They emailed me back asking why? I replied you've got to be kidding me! No parts,no engines no support of any kind.,and your happy with the u.s. sales results? Then I heard from another member. it was, well you need 250k to then you can be the go engine distributor. Any one who is laying out their own money for this is a fool! Go-Tec should have a full inventoried ware house here in the states and a u.s. rep to sell their product and get paid for said efforts. Not like when I was a kid with a paper route. I thought the order was suppose to go out last week? From what I have been reading the web site was suppose to be up and running? That was the jist of things I got from rugue.I have 5 go-tec's. The only reason they are still going strong is the fact I go outside of the states to by the parts. Thanks massive mods. Now if I really wanted a new go-tec I need to find some one outside of the u.s. to sell to me or buy the engine one piece at a time?

You own five GO engines Bigmatt.
Oh, now I feel bad, I only own four
now. I think anyone needing parts
should hoard all the items that they
will need to get them through another
year, as soon as they hit town.
Ya never know, if you catch my drift.
My respect is earned and I haven't
needed to hand much of it out recently.

I did, just getting some bearings and c clips from amain. I just hope things work out for the new distributor. And we have parts when we need them. I realize you can't have every part all the time. Hey why not? I feel go-tec could be a little more serious about the u.s. sales aspect of things and realize there is some money to be made here. If not let us buy out of the country.

250k... not quite. Not even close, although it is fair chunk of change (the amount of which I'm not going to disclose). However, I am actually building up inventory of engines and parts. It wont happen all at once, but you've got to start somewhere.

That said, there is a tremendous amount of business opportunity here, and definitely room for growth. You're going to see a new direction for Go in the USA. Out of which, customers, team members, and I will be providing product feedback. I also have some exciting things in store for next year, so keep an eye out!

Sorry T4-RC8 RACER77, been a busy boy the last few days.
I don't have any knowledge on the 3 Port Sport motors, so I couldn't say what differences there may be in the carb between the Sport and 3 Port RSpec. Rex (22Racer) has quite a bit of experiance with the Sport motor from memory, so he might be the man to talk too.

+1 to that. It's not easy working with overseas suppliers, and the wheels turn very slowly sometimes

All good things take time. As I mentioned in an earlier post, suppling the entire US market from scratch must be a truly daunting task. I know it's frustrating, but the new products are great, and you will be very pleased you hung in there. Just a little longer ....

I didn't do a post to start any bull crap, I have been reading this tread for a long time. At the start of the year I was looken at these engines because I liked the price a good engine for $179.00 to $209.00. Then it all started no parts Russ this Russ that,no parts do to eb mods. So I said to my self you better buy something else, so I did Novarossi +4 witch I love. So I was doing some reading and came across the Go add for the promo. So I thought well maybe I will go back to the go thread and see whats, what. I do about 40 pages of reading and ask a question about the promo and it was like asken Russ a question all over again. I am not saying that I won't buy a Go at some point but it won't be any time soon.

This is not a post to flame anyone or anything just some food for thought. If you say it make it so.

The 3 Port motors in question are now two generations old. Basically the factory clearing out old stock it seems. I am guessiing the other distributors, like myself, felt it was better to invest their money on the new generation GX Series and Massive Mods MG66 motors and parts which everyone is hanging out for. I didn't see the point in doing a special promotion on 18 month old motors, when I have a big order of the latest gear coming either.
Racefactor for you guys in the US is a thing of the past. Forget about the past, and realise that it has nothing to do with the new distributor, who is doing what he thinks is best for the GO product in the US at present. Just my .02 worth from where I'm sitting far, far away.

Nice - just be aware the factory don't do any modified motors. All Pro Series and GX Series motors that leave the factory are stock standard. There maybe a bit of salesmanship going on there

I have my 2 gallon old Powerhouse Mods gen 5.5 3 port race I am willing to get rid of. Nitro is done for me this year I am doing electric in the winter, and will have GX mills next year. The mill will come with the stock head and a polished alum LW DONUT racing head. And a new Hard anodized Dynamite 053 that I bought new for the mill. I have a RB S7 carb on it and have an extra front bearing for it. I heated it through out break in and this mill is crazy insane. Check out Mark at Powerhouses race port, NUTS. Rod is in perfect shape because the newer gens dont have the crazy pinch anymore. If anyone is interested PM me. With my team discount I have over $300 invested, it will be for a good price trust me.

Do you have the original cooling head?
If so, how much would you take for the
engine, with the original cooling head,
minus the Donut head, piston and sleeve?
