i had some with the rear kicking up hard on a some jumps at a track last week, is it just the jump or the rear and can i do something for this without affecting it too much on the rest of the track. I ran the stock setup last week

I hear ya not sure where all that started. If you want to copy a set up off of the losi site 3-3 will be 1's up for the anti squat and 0's for the toe you can also go as far as 4 deg anti squat by using 1's up and a stamped rear 3-3 plate

This is what all of the losi guys will be refering to when you read a set up

if your happy with the oil and spring set up you can reduce your droop abit , or what i done because my truggy doing same thing , white springs 27.5 wt oil i reduced my droop to 125mm

what about front, also i just realized i had 0 in front and rear, would the 2deg antisquat have anything to do with that

awhile back i saw a pic of how to measure the clutch. i can't seem to find it. could some one repost the pic or send me in the rite direction. thanx

digital vernier gauges and measure accross the face of the shoe that makes contact with the clutch bell , 24.3min although people do replace at 24.4 ..
i cant find the pic either maybe someone else knows what page its on

the gearbox shims wont work

you need to get kyosho 8x10mm shims they come in a pack with .1's .2's and .3's

i shimmed mine up once and it made the car really twitchy and hard to drive.
losi's are designed with slop and drive best with it.
it takes some getting used to the theory that the slop helps but IMO there cars are a POS when the slop has been shimmed out

im at the point now where i would like to rebuild my car for the nationals but dont want to do it because i will loose all the slop and the car will need to be broken in again
