I''ll try heating it up and reshaping it, but the bend goes all the way to the end cap of the pipe. When it happened, the crash pushed the exhaust mount and bent it where the mount attaches. Now my mount is another 1/2" away and the pipe is currently closer to the fuel tank than I like. Thanks for the response.
. Looked like someone had taken a can opener to it. I got monstered by a truggy during an open practice session
Good pipe the 0801 but just a bit too thin walled and fragile.
Order a new 2072 from Massive Mods. With your exchange rate you will get a cool price, and Mark will ship it to you real fast. HP readings with the new 2072 are scary. Will make your EBMods scream

hi there
at first, i hope you understand my terrible english :-)
i have a lot of engines, go 25, go r217pt, Ninja Jx, modded v spec, trinity ex tech 21, rb ws7II, Rb C6, sirio cl7B sti....wiht a lot of differnet pipes
i like to try new engines and to see if there is much trues what people write about there engines :-) in forums
i just believe what i try by myself
i drive the engines in truggies, this time a losi 2.0T is my truggie.
of all these engines the ninja jx and the go 21 7 port are my favourites. the go a littl bite more because you get more then you pay for.
this engines is fantastic, its my second 7 port go engine and this engines has so much bottom and low end, its fantastic, but one thing i didnīt like at the go engines, the carbs are not constant, they hold a tune, that is not the problem but the carb is not good enough for the rest of the engine. the quality of the carbs are not constant
try a ninja jx 21 carb on your go and you will see what happend. this thing fit perfect, much beter then ateh sirio carb
you will see that you will have more snap from low when you accelarate
next days i will sell my other engines and the go 7 port would be my engine next time, i like the engine.
i like it too when people laugh about my engine, but after they will see at the corners and the straights that there ist nothing to laugh :-)
so i hope you can read my terrible english , hahaha

Hi Mihael, nice to have you on the forum
Yes, the GO 7 Port is a wonderful motor in truggy or buggy. Interesting what you say about the JX Ninja carb. There are plenty of Jx Ninjas where I race, so I will have to try and get my hands on a spare carb and try it out. I know the Jx's are very strong down low from watching the run.
Have you tried shortening the low speed needle on your GO carb ? Take it from 1.6" down to 1.42" and try it. You will find the carb totally different to tune, and performance IMO is better.

So if I have a carb with the HSN that measures 1.42 already but is more than 6-9 months old ( got it last year late summer early fall) what version motor you think I have? The gen 5 has the 1.6 right? Oh yeah, its the silver headed 5 port turbo button. And it has been a pain to tune so far.

Well after breaking my bloody conrod last month on my 7 port just as it ran out of fuel (and 5 minutes after thinking "I'll just run this today and then change the rod before racing tomorrow!!!"and since having some slight tuning problems I decided to give the sleeve a pinch..Job done..back on top form and with the 2072 pipe absolute screamer..around 9 minutes runtime so a bit less than the 2047 but well worth it for the improved bottom end punch..gotta back off the front brake though as stopping fast at the end of the straight I managed to lift the rear wheels with ease and flip the buggy over..and that's in dusty low grip conditions.
I'm really liking the 2072 on the 7 port, but after trying both I think the 3 port R is still better with the 2047..Next race is on the 5th july at a really tight track with the worst rocky ripped up surface..not my favorite venue at all..maybe now I have the car and both motors soeted properly I can get some points this time..

Grizz is right, shorten your LSN as he described.I did my gen4 7port and it tunes real easy and stays consistent all day.
I took your advice Grizz and have ordered a Gen5.5 5port and 2072 pipe combo from MM.Luckily I know what I am in for with breakin after breaking in the 7pt (now where`s that heat gun?
Will let you know how it goes.

Just go through the same break in routine though
Yep that shorter LSN makes it easier to tune for most people. I reckon I have got better performance from both my motors since I changed (probably because their tuned properly now !!). Economy doesn't seem to be affected at all either. Enjoy that 5 Port - you will love the bottom end punch

LOL, its infectious, yeah lsn. its already 1.41+-. Took out the HSN and noted the oring was nasty. Hadnt fallen apart yet for the most part, but was cracked up badly, kinda "chunky" lookin. Did the fuel tube mod. The lsn oring looked fine so I used allittle Dow55 oring lube on it. Havent had a chance today to retry it, as I'm getting ready to go to Father in laws 80th B-Day party! WOOHOO! I'll fire it up in the morning as soon as I think most neighbors are up,LOL Am using a 801 pipe with it and the blips I get around driveway show potential, but wont stay running long enough to get a feel or good breakin. This oring may do the trick I hope
