smaller tuning window ?

tuning and the performance that can be created by proper tuning are pretty much the same with all engines . the os does have a broader range that it will run , might not run well but will run . the novarossi engine(carbs) will work ok when carbs are way out of balance but perform awesome when the proper tune (tuning includes plugs , pipes and clutch also) is achieved. i have been running novarossi engines for a long time and i dont believe that the carbs are hard to tune myself . i can only try to explain the art of tuning over the pc , a little easier in person . you must first understand why the engine does what it does before you can tune it

i have tried os-2050 pipe on a few novarossi engines and thought they sucked . some people on here say they work well

i recommend the pipesets i recommend because i have founds them to work very very well on these engines .

if you have short track at home , i recommend a 3 port limited , they are excellent and only around 150-160$ , the toro nero is awesome but is suited for tracks where it can breathe . it has great bottom response yet its smooth , the 21-7fms is a great engine and has a 5 port novarossi feel with more in every dept. plus you get killer bearings .

hope this helps ,

P4 in the MBX6T was definitely smooth. I didn't realize it until I ended up qualifying 5th for the A main. Never touched the setting you had on the motor and the thing ran smooth for two days straight.

Rev

We are not talking about the meat, it was like finding a sacred religious artifact. We don't want to share, or have everyone trying to get a piece of the action.

I know our boy Hoby is way more competent than before, but he was driving a Revo. LOL.

Got any O'lube left?

Default Got the transponder

Did you get my voicemail? I got the transponder in the secret hiding place. I had fun at the track Sunday. I placed last in the main but I was going up against some really good drivers and engines. After this week I hope to level the playing field a bit. I get back from Seattle late wednesday night and can swing by Thursday or Friday if you have an engine for me. I would like help setting it up please. I see how good my son's turned out. I really trust your work. Where would be a good place to get a battery for that bump box you gave Nick? I plan on using it since Nick had to have a new one for himself. Speaking of that, When Nick was buying his motor, you had an engine that you reconditioned for less money, do you still have it or one like it? I am all about saving money, If you say it is good to go then it is. I would love to get one broken in already since I have a million things going on right now and would love to run a new engine against Nick next weekend on Father's day. I will check back here or you can call me or vise versa.
See you later this week
